I. Hygiene Standards for Tissues
1. Microbiological Indicators
The microbiological indicators of tissues are one of the important indicators to measure their hygiene quality. According to national standards, tissues must not contain coliform bacteria, pathogenic pyogenic bacteria, and other microorganisms. In addition, for used tissues, the total number of bacterial colonies must not exceed 200 cfu/g.
2. Chemical Substance Indicators
The chemical substance indicators of tissues mainly include the content of migratable fluorescent substances, migratable ammonia nitrogen substances, and heavy metals such as lead. These chemical substances have certain effects on human health, so national standards have also stipulated the content of these substances. Among them, the content of migratable fluorescent substances must not exceed 0.5mg/kg, the content of migratable ammonia nitrogen substances must not exceed 0.2mg/kg, and the content of heavy metals such as lead must not exceed 1mg/kg.
3. Appearance and Physical Property Indicators
The appearance and physical property indicators of tissues are also one of the important indicators to measure their quality. According to national standards, the physical property indicators of tissues such as dimensional deviation, quantitative deviation, thickness deviation, and tensile strength must meet the requirements. In addition, the appearance of tissues must also meet the requirements, and there must be no obvious defects.
